Bags can make or break your entire outfit. They have a practical function, but you know a bag will become your friend for life when it combines practicality and style. So here are three bags (and brands) I’ve fall in love with lately.

Landa | Olivo – Crossbody Bag

Landa is a new brand established in Ireland and 100% female owned. They create bags spacious enough that you can carry your life in them, but still looking very stylish. The woman behind Landa was born in Argentina, which makes her passionate about high-quality leather bags handcrafted only by the best artisans. Not to worry, they also have vegan leather pouches for those who don’t wear leather.

In my opinion, the Olivo Crossbody is perfect to carry a tablet or laptop, a notebook and all my essentials. I personally love the freedom of a crossbody bag, your hands are free, you don’t need to worry about your bag falling off your shoulder and it gives you easy access to the things in it.

VONI Los Angeles | Nyomi Bag

VONI is another brand to keep in your radar. They are based in Los Angeles, they are black and female owned and they promote a cruelty free end-to-end production process. I discovered them thanks to a shout out they got from Vogue Magazine in their IG stories,

My favourite of their bags is the Nyomi Bag. I love the shape and structure that make this bag look so luxurious. And you can wear it 3 ways. Handbag, crossbody or backpack! That’s what I call a multi-utility product. The bag has very good capacity to carry all your essentials, it’s made out of 100% vegan leather and comes in 5 different colours.

You can always pair your bags with amazing shoes like the Spring must-have: flat mules or these heeled sandals.

ASK Scandinavia | Mandi Bag

ASK Scandinavia is another relatively new brand, also female-owned promoting sustainable values. Their Ocean Collection is with ECONYL® fibre; which is 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from fishnets collected from the sea and other nylon waste. How cool is that?

Their bags are lightweight and spacious with a design that fully embraces the Scandinavian minimalism. My favourite is the Mandi Bag (and the Ocean Mandi). This isn’t your average bucket bag, this is a versatile crossbody that fits a lot. I love the quilted pattern and the drawstring fastening. Practical and funky at the same time.
