Honoring my Italian roots I need to explain that Caprese means “from Capri.” Capri is an Italian island in the Mediterranean close to Naples. I can’t confirm that it actually originated there, but it is Italian and it is delicious. The trick to making a good Caprese is to use good quality and genuine ingredients.
The ingredients are:
Cherry Tomatoes 
Fresh Basil Leaves 
Mozzarella Cheese 
Black Olives 
Extra-Vergin Olive Oil 
Balsamic Galze 
Toast or Bread in Slices for the Base

Tip: you can also add a pinch of salt and pepper when you add the drop of olive oil on the mozzarella if you prefer.
